I'm so glad I live here

One of my favourite photos from the 3 day trip to the South Island. This is a view from the top of a hill we hiked up to find the very "Center of NZ".

I had a good time overall. I haven't had a proper vacation in what seems like forever. And it's always nice to be able to get away, even for just a few days.

Better yet, there are so many things to do and places to go, without having to leave the country.

`Now I'm going to burst with jealousy about where you live! ;-)

I'm bursting with jealously too. :)

I love New Zealand. It must be the most beautiful country in the world.

That's a beautiful picture. I'd love to visit there, it seems serene. Not too many places nearby where I could find something peaceful like that. Thanks for sharing!
Take care,
Sid

Yes, GORGEOUS!! I'm SO glad that you could get away from life and your problems for a few days.

We try to take a mini-vaction once ever winter to a cabin up in the mountains here for that very reason.

I've visited your blog a few times now. I never realised you and I lived in the same country! I too, have a deep appreciation for our country.
