Sprained ankle

Tough week ahead. I'm trying not to think too much. V is away this week.

On Friday I injured my ankle while out running on the trails. I went to see a doctor. Nothing serious, but he said, no running for a week. I rested all weekend, but I was out there again today - running. It's still slightly swollen, but I can't cope without my run.

What's a bit of physical pain, compared to the agony I feel inside?

Ouch, sorry to hear about the sprained ankle. I agree about the physical pain being trumped my emotional pain. I remember when I broke both my elbows a few years ago, that pain came nowhere near the pain of depression inside me.

Thank you for the congrats about the house - I'm sure you can imagine the stress I felt last week... and now it's mostly gone! :-)

I think for you, to keep on running is best. :-)

Hey there,

I was just reading your blog. I would suggest that you try an ankle brace,...a very low profile one that is not expensive. Check out : http://www.drbraceco.com if you would like to see how to get one for fifty percent off retail.

Hope you heal soon and can get back to running. I'm too heavy to run so I've been walking every morning and finding it's true what they say about regular exercise being like taking an antidepressant. Take care.

I hope your ankle is feeling better now - and I agree, emotional pain can be so much worse than physical.
